In what combination would the agreement be, I've no idea, and honestly, I'm often surprised (pleasantly though) to see retro games popping up on different services however I'm honestly not sure if SNK is actually still in business in and of itself as a publisher, and when a publisher closes, lot's of odd things can happen to the rights, so whoever's actually got the rights to SNK's content at this time, seems to be primarily GoG.īottom line, this is definitely one of the right places to have this conversation, and there has to be someone at GoG that could at least interject on this thread and give us all some sort of lead to follow so that we can use the full functionality of the Twitch Prime copy of Metal Slug 3 that a lot of Prime members redeemed, and it wouldn't be the least bit surprising if some conversation with either Amazon or Twitch was required as part of additional follow up, but GoG support "should" have most of the information.Īnyway, apparently the process to get the full functionality for multi-player would be (after having done a ton of research on this subject).ġ - Add the game using the "Scan" feature from the GoG client by pointing directly to the folder Twitch Prime installed Metal Slug 3 to (.or the folder Twitch Prime was instructed to use during the installation process of Metal Slug 3 by the end user)Ģ - Redeeming a key also appears to be a requirement.ģ - The key for Metal Slug 3 (obviously the key is unknown, but there'd have to be one associated with the game for each account holder even though it's a free copy for Twich Prime members), would be added through the GoG client after selecting Metal Slug 3 from the new library entry in the client from the import by clicking the "Connect Now" link at the bottom followed by finishing the reCapthca.
